To the Editor, Lymphorrhea is a rare yet serious postoperative complication that may arise following a range of surgical procedures. This leakage can result in complications like extended hospitalization, hypoalbuminemia, fluid loss, wound infections, and the need for additional surgery. In more severe instances, septic shock or potentially life-threatening infections can develop.
